2009 Shoes, Boots, High Heels, Sandals & more
As much as one would like to think we are past the era where the average shoe size was six, unfortunately that isn’t true. Not according to the fashion industry, even though the majority of women have feet that are sized nine or ten. It is really hard to find nice pairs of shoes when one’s foot size is size ten or higher, because a lot of shoe companies discriminate against foot size.
For women, trying to find out where to buy large women’s shoes is a task and a half. There are some shoe stores that offer shoe sizes up to size eleven, but a lot of them do not. The easiest place for women to find shoes that size would have to be online. This causes a lot of hardships for women with big feet because they can’t actually try on the shoe, and some women do not have a credit card to order online with.
It seems that a lot of the local shoe stores refuse to cater to women with bigger feet, and when they do, the shoes are pretty well hideous. Just because a woman has big feet, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be dressed gorgeous.
